MARLA WILLS
Marla Wills is a Wife, Mom, Grandma, and Child of God. She is a Clinical Social Worker which means a counselor. She has been a Clinical Social Worker for 34 years. She went back to school at the age of 40 to finish her Bachelors and Masters degrees and the two-year counseling internship and national exam. She’s been active in planning women’s retreats in the Southwest Region (TX) of Disciples Of Christ churches. Marla servers as an Elder in the church, facilitates a small group study, and seasonally decorates a meditation corner in the Sanctuary. She enjoys reading, working Sudoku puzzles, and writing to friends by email. She loves hosting Small Group and is excited to see all the lovely faces that attend.

Different ways of praying, prayers Jesus prayed, and some 'surprises' in prayer.

PARKING & NAVIGATION OF BUILDING:
When arriving, guests can park in the parking lot to the side of the building off of Gladstone Ave. or behind the building off of 6th Street. This study group will be meeting in the Friendship Room which is on the first floor of the building. You will enter through the glass door entrance off of Gladstone Ave, go down the stairs, and through the double doors straight ahead from the bottom of the stairs into the “Friendship Room”. This room is labeled above the brown double doors. There is an ADA Entrance off of the back left hand side of the parking lot. Once on the Elevator you will go to the “Fellowship Hall” floor. Once you arrive on this floor you will take a left out of the elevator, through the door at the bottom of the stairs, through the “Prep Room” where all the metal tables are, into the “Fellowship Hall” where all the blue tables are, take a right in the Fellowship Hall and continue until you see brown double doors to your right and brown double doors at the front of the Fellowship Hall. You will go into the brown double doors on your right and that is the “Friendship Room”. If you need access to this entrance, please call the office at 816-231-0016, so they can let you into the building. If you need any help navigating the building, please also call the office.
FUTURE SMALL GROUP SESSIONS:
There will be a break in Small Group Sessions for the holidays.
There will be no Small Group in November or December.
